As always, realistic and believable characters are a must, and this one does not disappoint. Sparks, a female police officer, becomes the person around whom the story develops. The supporting cast of heroes and villains makes this an engaging and enjoyable spin on the often used and often abused ZA motif. I will be continuing this series as far as the author takes it!
