This book is gorgeous. I actually got this book from a giveaway pile and thought, “Oh, this is just a book with a patriotic song (one of the best patriotic songs in my opinion!) and some illustrations to go with it. I’ll go ahead and take it.” I didn’t know what a treasure this book is. The illustrations are truly stunning. I love the way different areas and time periods are represented. It will be the perfect addition to our American history/geography/patriotic songs homeschool curriculum this year. It’s definitely a book worth purchasing.
