I've never had a Southern Living cookbook, magazine, or anything of the sort, so these recipes were all new to me. I've made a few of them so far and every one I've tried has turned out great -- I particularly love that they have a few game recipes, and the bacon and lemon topped venison roast was delish! My first time making deer and it turned out wonderfully.I also enjoy the collection of yeast breads, though I've yet to try any of those. The chocolate chip cookie recipe is to die for... I have yet to even pop the included CD in my laptop, but I don't really want to have to turn on my laptop to view recipes anyway.Con: I wish it had a better index -- sometimes I like to look things up by ingredient, and this index doesn't allow me to do that.
