I had ordered a book for my daughter's preschool gift exchange, but it ended up being a really large book, and with a $10 max, I didn't want to show up with a huge book when others brought smaller books. So, I was on a mission to find a nice book that I would want my own children to read. This book is definitely THAT book. The left side is perfect for older (maybe 3rd grade) readers, while the right side of the book is perfect for toddlers and preschool age children. There is so much geography in this book. As a teacher myself, I would say that this is a must-have, especially if you love for your children to learn while they read. I am thinking that we will be getting a copy for ourselves as well! It would also be fun to collect these books from each state that you've traveled to. We do that with the Good Night Series books.
