I was delighted by the wonderful, detailed illustrations. Page by page, there are such cute characters and really great attention to detail. From adorable Santa posters in the background, to cute little dogs looking on as the story is told. The writing in the story is about a family who travels through Oklahoma and sees the neatest attractions. There were details I didn't even know about Oklahoma, even after living in the state over 10 years. The author did a great job of making the story educational but also entertaining.This is a great gift for the Holidays. As I was reading through it, I kept thinking that elementary schools in Oklahoma should use it as a fun teaching tool.
