We recently purchased 2 of these Texas (America Series) hardcover books as gifts to give two different couples we visited in Europe to entice them to include our area in Texas on one a future trip. We had looked through several books in a local bookstore and came across this one in paperback there. There were others that could have made a good gift also, but this one was very appealing and was a few dollars less expensive than the other one we were deciding between. I used a quick search with the Amazon app on my phone and found the hardcopy available for just a little less than at the store, so we ordered two and took them with us. They were light enough to pack easily, and we were delighted with the books when looking through them again, and our European friends seemed very interested in them and at least one of the two couples is planning a trip to visit us and see some of Texas with us.
