I purchased this book a few weeks ago and this was a book that I could not put down. My life has been surrounded with addiction from childhood, adulthood and into the workplace. I never understood why people suffered with severe drug addictions etc. This book really broke down the spiritual sickness and why people are crippled by addiction. I have always had purpose, practiced self care and have a personal relationship with my higher power. That is why I guess I never was riddled with the power of addiction. I really learned a lot in this book and it gave me new insight and understanding, into the root causes of addiction and how to treat it. I now know the difference between sobriety and recovery. This book helped me realize that my advocacy for Self Care is on track to also help people dealing with addiction. Unless you treat the root cause of any disease or addiction people will continue to suffer. I think this is an important book for anyone suffering with addiction. I found Eric on social media because I also follow Wes Watson online. I was very impressed with his business acumen and how he has risen from the ashes to success. I will be considering taking some of his courses in the future that he is now offering.
