It is made of strong durable metal. It sticks to a magnet so it can be magnetized. The Mantus Pliers have a gripper end with an interlocking mesh design which helps hold like a claw. I ordered it on Friday, it was delivered on Saturday via FedEx. ToolTopia has excellent customer service. They made good on a mistake in ordering/shipping. I ordered the 14 inch, but received the 6 inch at 50% off. I was initially very upset by the mix-up, but they responded immediately with a plausible explanation and a refund.
