I finished it the morning of my presentation. It's a terrific book. I have read a great deal on the subject of Islam, its history, law, and doctrines. this volume greatly expanded my knowledge. (It had been sent complimentary to one of our far left Madison, WI legislators, who apparently put it on the shelf unopened--the letter to him was still inside. Perhaps he gave up on becoming literate?) It greatly expanded my understanding of these complex issues, and I was able to include several points from it in my speaking notes. They finally had to stop the Q and A session, and an attendee invited me to address another group in the near future.
