Ordered size 16, 36-37" waist, 5'1. They fit nicely around the waist which is difficult for me with jeans because belly, however, these are not skinny, crop. They look silly rolled because they are a boot cut and do not lay flat against your leg. If I don't roll them, they hit right at my ankle and they are somewhat baggy in the legs, again, more a boot cut to to me. The light color is great for summer but not the style I wanted. Now, if you're taller, maybe the crop thing will work, but I have skinny legs and these look silly cuffed because they flare.
