I bought these to use as security lighting on the outside of my building. I live in a historic district and wanted something that would reasonably pair with the original industrial vibe of the neighborhood but also provide actual light. I had a contractor come out and recommend some LED wall packs for commercial buildings but they look out of place and the light is harsh. I like these fixtures since you can add any LED bulb with any color and wattage up to 150w. I went with some 120w warm white (2700k) LED bulbs and they cast a warm glow in the alley. I also like the way the light is focused downward from these fixtures but also has a fairly wide area of coverage.I had 3 of these put up without much difficulty. I had to mount them to 4" exterior round boxes to house the wires since I was going through exterior brick with limited access to the inside wall. I also added a photocell switch to turn these on at night and off at morning. The lights are made of durable heavy gauge steel with a thick finish of paint. I got the bronze finish and it's exactly like the product photo.They came well-packaged and assembly only takes a couple minutes. Careful when attaching the reflector, the nut is reverse threaded. It comes with a gasket for outdoor use and 4 machine screws that will fit a standard light fixture box. You could also just mount this directly to the wall and wire it up on the other side--there is roughly 3 feet of wire included. A little pricier than some options but worth it for the quality and to support a US manufacturer on Amazon!
