But now I'm a convert! I found another product that is a sticky mount you can put on the wall, so I stuck that on the wall next to my bed, and now my phone can hang there while it's charging, and I never have to worry about it getting knocked off the headboard, and it can function as a handy clock I can see just by opening my eyes, no having to sit up or crane my neck, or grab my phone. As a hand hold for my phone, I have mixed feeling about the pop socket. Sometimes I appreciate it, sometimes I don't bother using it. I wish it functioned better as a stand to hold the phone at an angle, but the weight of my phone/case combo seems to be too much for it most of the time and it pops back into a level position.The Gimlet 2020 design is perfect -- and I appreciate that the caps on these are easily interchangeable so you can switch designs whenever you want without worrying about removing/replacing the sticky base.
