These guys really rock. I've had the movie soundtrack for years, but for some reason I never got around to this album until I saw it was on sale. They take old R&B nuggets and do a fine job covering them. Of course this could only be done by having some fantastic studio musicians in their band who just hammer out the tunes with so much soul that the original musicians must have been proud.Bottom line.....If you like the movie soundtrack then you really will like this supposedly live soundtrack of totally different covers
