John Denver was making environmental music in the country category way before Al Gore was around. Back in the 70's, this country/folk singer gave us "Rocky Mountain High" and "Country Road" along with "Calypso". If you like country or folk with an environmental twist that a Cherokee would be proud of(not the Jeep although I do like Jeep)like any other Native American, John Denver wrote the book on the subject. Very mellow, folksy, and environmental.
