This looks much better in person than it does in the photos here. Deeper/warmer brown with gorgeous swirls in the top finish. However, it's not made of wooden boards. The bottom shelf was chipped on the edge/corner and it's definitely particle board. I don't plan on returning it so I'll touch it up with some dark brown paint. At the time I purchased this it was $95 but since then the price has increased substantially. Since this isn't real wood, I doubt I'd spend much more. One thing I have to say is they really do a fine job of making this "wood" look real. It could be that the top shelf is real and the bottom shelf is particle - but I'm not 100% sure on this.There are plastic "feet" on the bottom of the legs to protect your flooring. And you can use them also for leveling.It's very heavy and the hardest part for me (female with not much muscular strength) was getting it out of the box. It comes double-boxed with a ton of Styrofoam. Assembly took me 10 minutes, taking my time. 12 bolts, locking washers and regular washers, Allen wrench included.Made in China.
