1990 Capt America- Salinger puts on the red, white and blue 11 yrs after Reb Browns debut in 1979 with 2 Capt movies. In this reboot we get to see Capt fight the Red Skull in WWII and return in 1990 after a long winters nap in Alaska buried in ice. Good story and he does a great job. I liked Reb Brown better in this role but liked the story line more in this one. Great quality BlueRay. The sound was up and down. The Red Skull costume a little dated as is the whole movie. It doesn't compare to the new Capt movies but for the time it's a fun version. I would recommend getting the BlueRay version and watch it for what it is "A 25yr made for TV superhero movie".If you haven't seen the two 1979 TV movies with Reb Brown Amazon has them both in a set for like $4 you can't go wrong at that price. In some of the comments lots of people complained about the quality of the Disc but I was very happy with the transfer so not sure if they just got bad ones or I just got a good one.Overall I'm happy with this purchase and you will be also just keep in mind it was 1990 when this aired.
