This DVD features America in a studio setting along with Calvin Samuels on bass and long-time America drummer Willie Leacox. I thought this was going to be a recording of a studio gig in front of a live audience but apart from the "Bonus" track "Mad Dog" which clearly was recorded in front of an audience the rest of this set seems more like a studio rehearsal. All the songs are from the first 4 America albums and overall are performed well but now and again the vocals are a little 'off'. The band seem tired and therefore this is no surprise. I am a long-time fan of America and for me anything from their early years is worth having. I have viewed some of this show on youtube and you may wish to do the same before deciding whether or not you wish to invest in this DVD. However, for real America fans this is a must. The packaging notes are in German and the 'show' suffers from the typical 1970's habit of superimposing titles over the performance. The names of some the group members appear incorrect both on screen and in the accompanying DVD booklet, although the lyrics are printed in English.
